Sofalca Registers New DAP in the DAPHabitat System

Sofalca – Sociedade Central de Produtos de Cortiça, Lda. takes another step in promoting natural and eco-friendly solutions with the registration of a new Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in the DAPHabitat system.
The document refers to the product ICB Panels (Insulation Cork Board), reflecting the company's commitment to offering construction materials with strong environmental performance and biobased origin.

This 100% natural product is made exclusively from expanded cork granules, obtained from the bark of the cork oak tree, with no chemical additives. It offers excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties, fire resistance, and durability, making it an ideal solution for sustainable and energy-efficient buildings.

With this EPD, Sofalca reinforces its mission to enhance Portuguese cork through innovative, circular, and environmentally responsible products, contributing to a more sustainable and informed construction sector.
